Live Different is a charity based out of Hamilton, Ontario and last week I got accepted into the Live Different Academy. Meaning that sometime next year I will spend four months in Vincente Gurrero, Mexico and I will spend four months travelling across Canada with the Live Different production teams. While in Mexico, I will teach english as a second language, build some houses all while learning about many different social justice issues. While I am in Canada I will go to many different schools, and be a guest speaker about the hard things I have been through, and how Live Different inspired me to become a better person. Although I have never really left Grande Prairie.. I am very excited to have a big start after I graduate in June. I cant wait to move to Hamilton until May of 2014. I once had no faith in myself, and I never thought it would even be possible for me to get in, and I DID IT! Now i just need to win the support of my parents. I would like to thank everyone who stood beside me when i took this leap of faith. i wouldnt know if it was ever possible if it werent for you guys.
